Each year one Officer is named as Police Officer of the Year and is honored on Loyalty Day in a ceromony held at the Township Building and hosted by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Springfield-Delco Post #5705.
The 2010 recipient honored April 30, 2011 was Officer Jeffrey Shull.
