Detective Division

The Detective Division of the Springfield Township Police Department is staffed by four experienced Detectives who are supervised by a Sergeant. The Detectives are responsible for investigating all criminal incidents that occur in the Township. They also prepare all criminal complaints and follow the cases through the criminal court system until a final disposition is realized.

The Detectives are also instrumental in crime scene processing, interview and interrogation, and they conduct background investigations on potential new police officers. They will also fingerprint civilians who need fingerprint cards completed for employment.
A Detective is on-duty from 0800 to midnight Monday through Friday and is on-call 24 hours a day. They can be reached by calling 610.544.1100 or fax 610.544.6905.
